What Can I Say?

images-1.jpg

I'll keep this brief. Like many of you, not only is my heart hurting after the surreal, sickening and horrifying results from Tuesday's election, but my head hurts from the many thought provoking, howl inducing, gut wrenching reads popping up on facebook. I keep reading, looking for some kind of anchor, something to give me hope that we are not hurtling toward fascism. I keep sharing anything I think is useful. I'm feeling grateful for the many fierce calls to action, the eloquent demands that we don't become passive in our despair. I do know that I believe in love, and I want to live in a world that celebrates people of all races, genders, and religions (including atheism). Upper Valley Yoga is a place of loving community, a place to work toward inner peace, a place to feed the fires of love and connection so that we can bring forth our very best selves and offer them back into the world.I will not tolerate hate, bigotry, or misogny in that loving space and neither should you. I hope you will come to the studio in the coming weeks and practice yoga in the spirit of love, fellowship, growth, and inclusion.Much love, so much gratitude,Leslie
