Jane Pappas
In addition to her academic degrees in Nutrition and Public Health, Jane draws on over 30 years of professional experience in the Health and Wellness field, including nutrition counseling, health care research, lifestyle education and coaching. Jane is a certified Life and Wellness Coach, Yoga Teacher, Registered Polarity Therapist and Corporate Wellness Facilitator. With her clients as well as her yoga students, Jane empowers people to adopt healthy lifestyle changes to live their lives more fully and authentically.
As a yoga teacher, Jane integrates her knowledge of the connection between the energetic and physical body, guiding awareness of the chakras, bandhas and breath through vinyasa style flow as well as yin and restorative postures. As in her personal practice, the center of Jane’s teaching approach is to help others mindfully let go of struggle in their postures, to honor and trust their body’s own wisdom and to find a natural, self-nurturing flow in their practice.
Jane and her husband Greg raised their 2 grown children on Boston’s north shore and now spend most of their time at their home in Quechee Vermont. In addition to practicing yoga every day, Jane enjoys cycling, hiking and both alpine and nordic skiing.
