Upper Valley Yoga will be hosting a spring market featuring and selling the wonderful creations of yogis from our very own studio.
If you are a craftperson or artist (any kind of art, food, jewelry, rugs, crafts, clothing, etc.) we would love to have you take part in this fun event! There is no charge to exhibit and no charge to enter--it's an opportunity for community building both within our yoga community, as well as the community of White River Junction. You set your own prices and pay no commission to UVY.
This will be part of the "First Fridays in White River Junction", when many
artists open their studios, shops stay open for the evening, and
special events happen throughout town. It's a fun scene, especially as the weather warms up.

An all-levels class that incorporates longer-held seated postures,
preceded by a brief active sequence for warming up. Yin Yoga is based
on the Chinese meridian system (acupuncture-like benefits, no

BENEFIT EVENT, Presentation And Class (9:00 am - 11:00 am)

Class starts at approximately 10 (one
hour class)
Upper Valley Yoga will be hosting Elvis Donkoh, the director of
the Alliance for Youth Development, Ghana, for a special presentation of his
ongoing work in Ghana. The organization liaises with other individuals and other institutions to offer
scholarships to HIV orphans, street children, and needy students to continue
their education.
Vicki Copeland, one of our yogis, spent three
weeks around Christmas 2011 with Mr. Donkoh and the
children of the orphanage. He will be visiting the US to raise
funds to create a proper kitchen for the orphanage, and to give proper care
to HIV positive orphans.
After his presentation, Sharon will lead a one-hour community class. This class is offered by
donation and all proceeds will support Mr. Donkoh's efforts. Class is for all
levels.

concise way through postures, breathing techniques, and life-affirming
