GENTLE YOGA - Leslie (10:00 am - 11:00 am)


Gentle Yoga

Gentle yoga taught in a supportive atmosphere and open to all levels, for anyone looking for a quiet, mellow practice. We explore mostly seated and restorative postures, with some standing postures, and props are used liberally to support the body. Please note that this class is not designed to handle acute states of illness, nor is it specifically therapeutic.

Prenatal Yoga

Embrace the wonderful new changes your body and baby are experiencing in a calm, peaceful atmosphere. Using gentle yoga postures and breathing, this class is designed for women in all trimesters of pregnancy.  Deeply connect with your own body and mind while becoming united with your baby.   This class is designed to strengthen the uterus and pelvic muscles, aid in digestion, exercise the spine, improve circulation and increase overall comfort while you prepare for the very natural process of birth.  Yoga postures and breath awareness may also alleviate many of the discomforts of pregnancy such as back pain, sciatica, nausea, constipation, varicose veins, and swelling. Feel free to drop into this class, or use a class card.

AcroYoga FUNdamentals Workshop (9:00 am - 12:00 - noon)

All levels, all ages, all people are welcome to join the AcroYoga Community. This workshop provides a safe environment to explore trust, connection and playfulness. Teachers will combine elements from Yoga, Acrobatics, and Thai Massage. The workshop can include: asana sequences, partner yoga, assisted inversions, basic partner acrobatics, therapeutic flying and Thai massage. After enjoying a sample of the many elements of the practice you will have first hand experience of what makes up AcroYoga. No partner needed. Some yoga experience is recommended. Anusara-Inspired™ Mixed Level

Anusara means "flowing with Grace,” “flowing with Nature,” “following your heart.”  Founded by John Friend in 1997, Anusara is a school of hatha yoga which combines tantric philosophy of intrinsic goodness with Universal Principles of Alignment that bring the body into a balance of stability and freedom.

Anusara-Inspired™ Mixed Level:  Not intended for beginners, this class will build up to more challenging poses including arm balances, backbends and inversions. Infused with tantric philosophy that affirms and uplifts our essential nature, this class offers more refinements and plenty of fun!


MIXED LEVEL - Leslie (12:00 - noon - 1:00 pm)

Mixed Level

A challenging and fun Ashtanga-style vinyasa class, using breath, drishti (gazing point) and bandhas (locks). In this condensed, 60-minute version of the mixed-level class, We move in a continual flow to facilitate a good, juicy sweat, making Savasana especially sweet! Students should be familiar with the practice of Ashtanga-Vinyasa Yoga.

Explores beginning level postures with an emphasis on correct alignment and the use of props. We also introduce the  fundamental tools of vinyasa yoga, including ujjayi breath, gaze, and linking breath with movement. No previous yoga experience necessary.

Level 1

Explores beginning level postures and emphasizes correct alignment through the use of props. Students are introduced to the foundational tools of Vinyasa yoga, including Ujjayi breath (the linking of breath and movement), drishti (visual gaze), and bandhas (locks). This class is suitable for beginners or for those looking for a moderately paced class with a methodical style of instruction.

Introduction to Yoga

This series explores the fundamental ideas and foundations of yoga, and is designed for the absolute beginner, or anyone who could benefit from re-visiting the basics. No experience is necessary or expected. Registration required

Gentle Yoga

Gentle yoga taught in a supportive atmosphere and open to all levels, for anyone looking for a quiet, mellow practice. We explore mostly seated and restorative postures, with some standing postures, and props are used liberally to support the body. Please note that this class is not designed to handle acute states of illness, nor is it specifically therapeutic.
