RECOVERY CLASS FOR SUMMER SPORTS
Join Leslie for a soothing, post workout recovery practice that will help you ease in and gently re-lengthen muscles used intensely in running, cycling, hiking, etc., particularly hips and hamstrings. We'll gently increase circulation to help flush lactic acid out of the tissues and speed recovery. Starting with some very slow, mellow movement, we'll focus most of our time together on seated and supine postures. Inversions for those who practice them, (modifications will be offered). We'll finish up with some restorative postures and then a lovely, cozy yoga nidra (yogic sleep, a restful, guided meditation)
Pre-registration is required. $20 by June15; $25 thereafter. All levels welcome.
